Sea Dogs catcher Luis Exposito was scratched from today's lineup with a stiff back. With the All-Star break Tuesday and Wednesday, he will have three days to recover.
Jose Iglesias was supposed to have his bruised hand checked just before game time (we hope to have an update after the game). So far, it has been a long, slow time to heal.
Alex Wilson is on the mound for today's noon game. He has allowed three hits over the first two innings, but has not given up a run.
Couple of notes from Sunday's games:
Pawtucket outfielder Ryan Kalish (.333) continues his hot streak, going 2-for-3. In his last 10 games, Kalish is batting .475 (19-for-40) ... Lars Anderson (.235) was also 2-for-3. In his last 10 games, Anderson is batting .314 (11-for-35).
Salem right-hander Stolmy Pimentel faced two batters in the All-Stars Futures Game, retiring both (fly out, ground out).
I'll check back after the game.
