According to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, Jed Lowrie is joining the Red Sox in Oakland. When he will be activated has not been announced.
Here in Manchester, Ryan Lavarnway gets the start behind the plate, and Jorge Padron is playing left field. The two newest Sea Dogs are batting .385 (5-for-13) and .333 (5-for-15) in four games so far.
