n Cameron Hart joined Macpage LLC as an audit staff accountant.

Hart was an intern at Macpage last summer working with its information assurance services team. He lives in Southern Maine.

n Bryan Daley has joined Kennebunk Savings as assistant vice president, residential lending officer.

Prior to joining Kennebunk Savings, Daley worked as a mortgage loan officer for another bank.

n Stacey Neumann joined the law firm Murray, Plumb & Murray in Portland.

Most recently, Neumann served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Portland, where she was the project safe childhood coordinator. In this position, she oversaw the office’s investigation and prosecution of child sex crimes. She serves as an adjunct professor at the University of New England.

n Jordan Kurta, M.D., a urologist, joined the staff at Central Maine Medical Center.

Kurta is practicing at the Central Maine Urology Center in Lewiston.

Prior to joining the hospital, he completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s department of urology in Memphis, Tenn.

He is a member of the American Urological Association.

n Mark Ross was promoted to assistant vice president, banking office manager at Kennebunk Savings branch in Wells.

Ross, of Arundel, joined the company six years ago as a financial services specialist and was later promoted to assistant branch manager in Wells. He is an assistant coach for boys lacrosse at Kennebunk High School.

n Jamison Leavitt, the manager for Agren Appliance in South Portland, was promoted to operations manager.

Leavitt joined the company in 2008 and is now overseeing operations at all of its retail stores.

n Matthew Clement, who joined Agren in 2010 as a sales associate in Auburn, was promoted from sales manager to store manager of its South Portland location. He is now overseeing the day-to-day operation and delivery schedule for that Agren location.

Maine Venture Fund recognized three of its portfolio companies at its annual CEO recognition dinner held in September in Brunswick.

Coast of Maine Organic Products Inc. in Portland was named Leadership Team of the Year. Led by Chief Executive Officer Carlos Quijano, the company was recognized for its strong financial and marketplace position, through detailed attention to product quality, strong customer relationships, creative marketing, and key strategic decisions in the areas of capital expenditures and strategic partnerships.

Harbor Technologies LLC, led by CEO Rob Fuller, received the Achievement Award.

The Brunswick-based company successfully underwent a restructuring designed to position it for greater success and margin improvement. Harbor Tech also made dramatic improvements in production, product design and consistency, and corporate governance.

The fund’s Public Benefit Award went to Cerahelix Inc. in Orono, which uses DNA to produce high purity ceramic filter that operates at low pressure and provides significant energy savings for the process industry.

Maine Venture Fund recently made the decision to change the name from Small Enterprise Growth Fund to better suit the mission, which is to invest exclusively in Maine companies

GENERAL

Gifford’s Ice Cream has added locations in Michigan, Chicago and Las Vegas.

Gifford’s reached a deal with Michigan-based Plum Markets to sell retail quarts in the grocery retailer’s locations in Ann Arbor, Bloomfield and West Bloomfield, Michigan, and Chicago, Ill.

Gifford’s is now on the menu at Carmine’s, a New York-based Italian restaurant group in Las Vegas.
