New faces, awards and honors in the Maine business world.

Colby Wallace of South Portland, for estate planning and probate; and Kathryn Wallace of South Portland, for estate planning and probate.

Fisher and Phillips LLP, recently announced that five attorneys in its New England office are listed in the 2013 edition of New England Super Lawyers. The attorneys who made the list are Jonathan Shapiro, managing partner in the New England office; and partners Melinda Caterine, Eric Uhl and Philip Moss, of counsel, who were recognized for their work in labor and employment law. Associate Peter Herzog is listed as a 2013 New England Super Lawyers Rising Star.

John McCallum, managing partner of Robinson Kriger & McCallum, was named one of The Best Lawyers in America in the area of workers’ compensation law-employers.


Rusty Atwood was elected as chair of the board of directors for The Maine Children’s Alliance. Atwood, of Gorham, is a consultant to Deerfield Associates, an executive search firm in Massachusetts that focuses on senior-level independent school and higher-education advancement positions. He is a member of Portland Rotary Club, a past president of the Maine Basketball Coaches Association and a member of the board of directors of the Maine Sports Hall of Fame.
