NEW FACES

• Vicki Turner was hired at Spence & Mathews Insurance as a commercial lines account manager.

Turner is a 25-year veteran of the insurance industry. She will be working with the agency’s business insurance team to ensure that its clients are protected and receiving the best value on their coverage portfolios.

• Alina Churchill-Burke joined Bangor Savings Bank as a mortgage development officer for Cumberland and Androscoggin counties.

Churchill-Burke, of Auburn, comes to Bangor Savings with extensive knowledge in the mortgage industry. She is very active in her community, serving as a board member for Rebuild Together Lewiston Auburn, as well as being involved with the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and Central Maine Medical Center.

• Samantha Coughlin and Kirsten Bakke have joined Diversified Communications.

Coughlin was hired as a customer service administrative assistant. She was previously employed with Giroux Energy Solutions.

Bakke was hired as a customer service representative.

• Steve Hardy joined Winxnet as a business analyst with 28 years of experience in clinical and anatomic pathology project management and consulting.

Joe Kelley also joined the firm as a technical support specialist with over 15 years of experience in a variety of IT environments.

Winxnet also hired Nate Godin to work as a network engineer after 11 years with Dahl-Chase.

BOARD APPOINTMENTS

• Paula Silsby joined the board of directors at Gorham Savings Bank.

Silsby, now retired, is an adjunct professor at University of Maine School of Law and a corporator at Gorham Savings Bank. She spent her career handling civil and criminal cases in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine; serving as U.S. Attorney from 2001 to 2010, chief of the criminal division and senior litigation counsel. Silsby also co-founded Pine Grove Child Development Center in Falmouth.
