Krystal Kenville joined Portland Models & Talent LLC as co-director.
Kenville, of Gorham, has more than 10 years of experience in film production, directing, casting and field production. She has worked in film, television, radio and theater both as an actor and behind the scenes and she has led film competitions and festivals throughout Maine and New England. Her experience includes work on “Zookeeper,” “Strange Night,” “What’s Your Number?,” Discovery Channel and The Biography Channel.
Melissa Buchanan and Chaz Gokas were hired as substance abuse counselors at Day One.
Buchanan was hired to work at its residential treatment program. Gokas is working at its Mountain View Youth Development Center.
Dr. Lee Gregory joined Maine Veterinary Referral Center, a 24-hour emergency and specialty animal hospital in Scarborough. Gregory is certified in canine rehabilitation therapy as well as veterinary acupuncture. She will be opening a rehabilitation department in October.
PROMOTIONS
Kim Donnelly was promoted to senior vice president, director of business banking, at Gorham Savings Bank.
Donnelly joined the bank as a commercial lender in 2010 and was promoted to director of business banking in 2011. She has more than 17 years of banking experience.
AWARDS
State Rep. Diane Russell was named the 2013 Women Legislators’ Lobby Pacesetter, an award for given for noteworthy legislative service, contributions to sound, progressive policy and groundbreaking leadership.
Russell was chosen “for her commitment to excellence and a resolve that the voices of women of all races and stations in life are fully and fairly represented in shaping public policy,” the news release said.
