Friday

Regulatory Fairness Board public hearing, 9 a.m. to noon, for businesses owners and managers, about specific state rules and regulations that may impede business sustainability and growth. The session is a follow-up to the May 10 meeting and is co-hosted by the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce. It will be held in the Alumni Room at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Saturday

Taste of New Gloucester, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., fourth annual Business Forum showcasing the town's local food economy, held at Thompson's Orchard, 276 Gloucester Hill Road, New Gloucester. Maine food expert Ken Morse will moderate a panel discussion and many local farms and businesses will be there to discuss their business and share free samples. Donations will be accepted.
