PORTLAND — The median list price for homes in Portland rose to $269,000 in June, up 3.46 percent from a year-ago.
The June price also marked a 1.62 percent over the May 2012 period, the real estate website group said.
The median price in Portland topped the national median list price in June 2012 of $195,000, which marked a 2.68 percent increase compared to June 2011, Realtor.com said.
In Portland, the active for-sale inventory of homes dropped 16.41 percent from last year to 5,145. Nationally, inventory fell 19.35 percent to about 1.89 million.
The median age of inventory on the market in Portland was 87 days -- flat compared with May 2012. Nationally, the median age of inventory was 84 days, a 1.2 percent increase compared to May, Realtor.com said.
