• Ellen Kornetsky, LCSW, has opened a counseling practice, specializing in adoption and other family related issues.
Kornetsky, a 20-year veteran in the field of adoption and child welfare, opened her own practice after the closing of Casey Family Services in Portland, where she worked with children and families for the past 11 years.
The practice is located at 10 Forest Falls Drive in Yarmouth.
• Karen Elise Kilbride formed Integris Financial Partners, LLC, a fee-only wealth management firm which offers a focus in retirement planning and investment management.
Kilbride has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She was most recently principal of On Course Financial Group, LLC.
Penobscot Surgical Care has joined Spectrum Medical Group -- a physician-owned, multi-specialty practice with over 150 board-certified physicians.
The addition of Penobscot Surgical Care will create a new surgery division at Spectrum Medical Group. The division will be led by managing director Michael Starks, M.D., who will serve on Spectrum's board of directors.
Maine Coast Memorial Hospital was recently awarded a three-year term of accreditation in ultrasound as the result of a review by the American College of Radiology.
