Planet Dog of Portland has launched a new blog called Chew on This, viewable at www.planetdogblog.com. The blog was created to engage members of the dog community to explore and discuss trending topics of the day and to offer an inside look at Planet Dog and the nonprofit Planet Dog Foundation.

 

Website for interior design

Tracy Davis, founder of the Portland-based interior architecture firm Urban Dwellings, has launched the new home accessories and furniture website Studio Elements.

The retail website will specialize in vintage and modern products for the home, combining traditional and contemporary designs with eco-friendly materials, including an array of furniture, artwork, textiles, lighting and artifacts.

Argo Marketing moves

Argo Marketing Group, formerly of Auburn, has moved to 415 Lisbon St., second floor, in Lewiston.

The move has expanded the company's operating space, increased its staff from 25 to 51 employees and upgraded its equipment with a state-of-the-art customer contact call center. Founded by Jason Levesque in 2003, Argo is a marketing logistics firm that specializes in direct response and emerging technology industries. Glowgolf opens at mall

Glowgolf, an operator of indoor glow-in-the-dark miniature golf courses based in Wichita, Kan., has opened at the Maine Mall at 364 Maine Mall Road, South Portland.

The 18-hole golf course features fluorescent golf balls, putters, course obstacles and wall d?r that glow under black lights. Guests may play up to 54 holes for the admission of $9 for adults and $7 for children. Group and family discounts are available. YWCA launches fundraiser

The YWCA of Central Maine has launched its Funding for the Future Campaign to receive online donations at its new website at www.ywcamaine.org. All contributions made to the campaign will be used to upgrade the YWCA building to energy efficient standards. The facility is located at 130 East Ave., Lewiston. Goodwill opens in Auburn

Goodwill Industries of Northern New England recently held a grand opening celebration at its newest store and donation center, located at 939 Turner St. in Auburn. The store features a drive-through donations drop and accepts used computer equipment through the ReConnect computer recycling program.
