    Hannah Anderson is the daughter of Chris Anderson and Johnna Major. She participated in the Key Club and the Interact Club. She is a part of the Maine State Ballet's School for the Performing Arts and was named a company member of the Maine State Ballet Company in 2010. Hannah will be attending Fordham University at Rose Hill in the fall.

    Dominique Burnham is the daughter of Ken and Jessica Burnham. During all four years of high school she participated in the field hockey and the softball programs, serving as co-captains of the softball team her senior year. Dominique will be attending Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island in the fall.

    Haley Carignan is the daughter of Peter Carignan and Marti Carignan. Haley was a member of the National Honors Society and Natural Helpers. During all four years of high school she played on the varsity girls soccer team, serving as co-captain her senior year. She was selected to be on the first team All-Conference as well as the All-State team. Haley will be attending Roger Williams University in the fall

    Adam Cohen is the son of Mark Cohen and Ellen Flaherty. Adam was the President of the Class of 2012 all four years of high school and also served as the Student Representative on the Scarborough Board of Education. Additionally, Adam founded the Mock Trial team, served as the Model U.N. President, and competed in Student Congress debate. Throughout high school, he participated in the soccer and tennis programs, serving as co-captain of the soccer team his senior year. Adam served as a Page in the United States Senate, United States Senate Youth Program delegate, and Boys State delegate. Adam will attend the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.

    Samantha Couillard, the daughter of Mary Jane and Rick Couillard, has been a member of National Honor Society, Academic Decathlon, Environmental Club, and played the flute in the Wind Ensemble. She was also a member of Scarborough's Interact Club, for which she served as president for three years, organizing volunteering activities. Samantha was a varsity swimmer for three years and participated on Coastal Maine Aquatics swimming for 11 years, serving as a captain her senior year. She also holds the Scarborough Swim Team record in the 100 yard breaststroke. Samantha was a winner of the Mount Holyoke College Book Award, the Most Valuable Swimmer Award, AP Scholar Award, and the Jamie Higgins Sportsmanship Award. In the fall, Samantha will attend Boston College to study biology.

    Shauni Cowan is the daughter of David and Patricia Cowan. Shauni was a member of the Student Council all four years, as well as the secretary her senior year. She was a member of National Honor Society for two years, and was secretary her senior year. Shauni was involved in the Key Club and the Pink Ribbon Club. During all four years of high school she participated in the Field Hockey and Lacrosse programs, serving as co-captain of the Field Hockey team her junior and senior years and co-captain for Lacrosse her senior year. In addition she played Ice Hockey her junior and senior year. Honors and awards that Shauni has received in high school include High Honor Roll, Honor Roll, the Wellesley Book Award, National Youth Leadership Scholarship Conference, Rotary Youth Leadership Award, Maine Field Hockey Association All State Award, Maine Field Hockey Association All Academic Award, Gladiator SGI/NFHCA National Academic Squad, Maine Ice Hockey All Academic Award, and SMAA Lacrosse 2nd Team All-Conference Award. Shauni Cowan will be attending Rhodes College in the fall.

    Grace Hachey is the daughter of Lisa and Michael Hachey. During her four years of high school, she participated in the school band as well as the Civil Rights Team. For the past three years, she has maintained a year round job at Highland Avenue Greenhouse & Farm Market. In the fall she will be attending the University of Southern Maine majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish.

    Garret C. Hazelwood is the son of Brian and Jennifer Hazelwood. Garret was a member of the National Honor Society Junior and Senior years; he participated in Student Council all four years and Senior year as Treasurer; participated in Mock Trial and Model UN Junior and Senior years; played baritone sax in the Wind Ensemble Junior and Senior years; earned a black belt in karate; played soccer and lacrosse all four years of high school and held a part-time job since he was fourteen. Garret will be attending the University of Rhode Island Pharmacy program this fall.

    Alex Henny - Salutatorian, is the son of Mary Wheeler and Rogier Henny. A member of the math team since freshman year, he was Maine's third highest scorer as a senior, and has twice been invited to the American Regional Mathematics League competition at Penn State. Alex has played for the varsity tennis team for all four years, in addition to being a member of the school jazz ensemble and co-founding the science bowl club. This fall, Alex plans to begin studying math and physics at the California Institute of Technology.

    John D Herrman is the son of Jefferson and Lynne Herrman. John was the treasurer of the National Honor Society, and was a member of the Math, Mock Trial, and Model UN teams. During all four years of high school he participated in soccer and tennis, and ran indoor track for three. Honors and awards that John has received include being named to the All-Academic soccer team senior year, and a member of two state championship teams for indoor track. John will be attending Duke University in the fall.

    Kelsey Howard is the daughter of Fred and Michele Howard. Kelsey was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. During all four years of high school she participated in the lacrosse and field hockey programs, serving as a co-captain of the field hockey team her senior year and a co- captain of the lacrosse team her junior and senior years. Honors and/ or awards that Kelsey has received include the Williams Book award, and the Faith Littlefield SMAA MVP Award. She was also named to the All- State and Academic All- State field hockey team, as well as honored as an All- American and Academic All- American for lacrosse. Kelsey will be attending Bentley University in the fall.

    Kennedy Johnson is the daughter of Keri-ann and Blaine Johnson. Kennedy played Varsity Girls' Hockey for her first two years of high school. Kennedy also participated in Key Club, the Gay-Straight Alliance Club, and the Civil Rights Club. During all four years, she was an active member of the Environmental Club of Scarborough. Kennedy will be attending College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine in the fall. She will major in human ecology and environmental science or international relations. After college, Kennedy has her heart set on joining the Peace Corps.

    Andrew Jones is the son of Jeff and Lucia Jones. Andrew was the Vice President of the Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, and Model United Nations clubs, while also participating in National Honor Society and Natural Helpers. During all four years of high school he participated in the band, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and indoor track programs, serving as a captain of both the soccer and lacrosse team his senior year. Andrew has received awards including All-New England Soccer Team as a senior, All-State Soccer Team as a junior and senior, Telegram All-State Boys Soccer, SMAA All-Academic Soccer Team, SMAA All-Conference for three years, 2nd Lacrosse Team All-Conference as a sophomore and junior, and 3rd Place in the 2010 Merriconeag Poetry Festival. Andrew will be attending Bowdoin College in the fall.

    Alexander Kyte is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ehrhard. Alex was a member of the Student Congress Debate Team during all 4 years of high school, earning multiple awards and medals, including Special Distinction as an inducted member of the National Forensic League. He participated in the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth program, the school wrestling team, is a member of National Honor Society and Junior Editor and literary contributor of the "Tintero" Literature Magazine. Awards that Alex has received include AP ScholarAward, National Merit Scholarship Commended Student and the Rochester Institute of Technology Computing Medal. He completed a computer internship during his junior year. He has received recognition two consecutive years in the Veteran of Foreign Wars "Voice of Democracy" competition. He has extensive volunteer hours that include intermediate school and peer tutoring and setting up computers and installation of games for the town's day care program. Alex will attend the Rochester Institute of Technology to further his computer studies.

    Megan Loiselle is the daughter of Heidi Labrie and Dan Loiselle. Megan was an active member of the ECOS Club and attended the MYAN Leadership Conference in 2010, during which she was awarded a $500 grant to initiate an ECOS project within the school. Honors and awards that Megan has received in high school include the Colby College Book Award and third place in Maine's Women's Literary Union writing competition. Megan has a brown belt in karate and has also participated in volunteer projects outside of Scarborough High School. She will be attending Suffolk University in Boston in the fall.

    Meghan McAlary is the daughter of Brian and Debbie McAlary. Meghan was a member of ECOS and the Pink Ribbon Club. During all four years of high school, she participated in the varsity ski team, serving as co-captain her senior year. Also, Meghan participated in the Varsity Volleyball team her junior and senior year. Honors and awards that Meghan received in High School include the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award junior year, the SMAA All-Conference Athletic Recognition Award and the SMAA All-Academic Team Award senior year. Meghan is taking part in the Pre-Dental Program at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in the fall.

    Conor A. McCann is the son of Theresa A. Cloutier and Alexander F. McCann. Conor is a member of the National Honor Society, Mock Trial team and Model UN. He played football, basketball and baseball serving as co-captain of the football and basketball teams his senior year. Conor received the Clarkson University Leadership Award, Libby-Mitchell Baseball Robert Philbrick Most Dedicated Player Award, SMAA Student Athlete Summit Leader Award and Coaches awards for football and baseball. He also made the SMAA Football All-Academic Team, SMAA Senior All Star Basketball Team & McDonald's All Academic Basketball Team. Conor will be attending the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in the fall.

    Rebecca Mitchell is the daughter of Robert and Barbara Mitchell. Rebecca played field hockey for all 4 years as a goalie, and was a member of the Jazz Band and Combo. She was a member of the Academic Decathlon team, winning 4 State Championships and was a member of the Gym Dandies for 10 years. Rebecca has been the student representative on the Wentworth Building Committee for the past 2 years. Rebecca will be attending Brandeis University in the fall where she plans to double major in History and Business.

    Sam Moore is the son of Ellen Corrigan and Frederick Moore. Sam participated on the math team and key club all four years of high school. In addition, he has acted in the One Act Play competitive theater group and participated on the Science Bowl team for the past two years. As a senior, he became the co-captain of the Science Bowl team. Sam won the Dartmouth College Book award and a National Merit Scholarship his senior year. Having placed 33rd in the state for math team this season, he is currently an alternate for the Maine All-Star Math team. Sam will be attending Brown University this fall.

    Nick Morris is the son of Robert Morris and Kelly Murphy. Nick was a 4 year member of the band, cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. He was a two-time cross country captain, as well as an indoor track captain his senior year. Nick was a two-time individual state champion in cross country, the indoor state champion at 800m in 2011, and a member of 4 state championship relay teams. Awards include 2010 & 2011 SMAA Runner of the year, All-Academic team, RIT Innovation and Creativity Award Winner, and National AP Scholar. Nick will be attending the United States Naval Academy. Wout Moulin is the son of Johan Moulin and Veerle Pottie. During all four years, he participated in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. He was a captain of the cross country team his senior year. Honors and awards that Wout has received in high school include the Xerox award and Coach's award. Wout Moulin will be attending Georgia Tech in the fall.

    Kate Odden is the daughter of Steve and Laurene Odden. She worked on the Scarborough High School Yearbook the last three years, serving as editor the past two. She has danced with Broadway Dance Academy since freshman year, participating on the competition team her sophomore and senior years, where the team received both gold and high gold awards. She has received both gold and silver medals in the National Latin Exam, and the Maine College of Art Book Award. She will be attending Stonehill College in the fall to pursue a double major of English and Graphic Design.

    Allison Orr is the daughter of Bruce and Diana Orr. During her years at Scarborough High School she was a member of the Civil Rights Team, ECOS Club, Key Club and Gym Dandies. Allison served as the manager of the softball team during her senior year and played on the team in prior years. Allison participated in the band program as well as Jazz Combo. Allison received a book award for Computing from Rochester Institute of Technology. Allison will be attending Bryant University in the fall to study Actuarial Science.

    John Passarelli is the son of Joseph and Maureen Passarelli. John served as Class Treasurer for four years and was a member of the National Honor Society, Mock Trial Team, and Key Club. During high school John participated in soccer, basketball, baseball, and track. John was the recipient of the Brandeis Book Award, Rotary Youth Leadership Award, McDonald's All-State Academic Basketball Scholarship, Catholic Youth Leadership Scholarship, Coach's award for soccer, and was named to the All-State Academic team for soccer and basketball and the McDonald's All-State Academic basketball team. John was a volunteer youth basketball coach and an active member of Youth Ministry at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church. John will be attending Wake Forest University in the fall.

    Kaitlin Reynolds is the daughter of John and Michaela Reynolds. Kaitlin was a member of Key Club, Pink Ribbon Club and band. During high school she participated in the soccer and hockey programs. Honors that Kaitlin received include winning the soccer State Championship '10 and receiving the Yale Book Award. Kaitlin will be attending Boston College to study chemistry in the fall.

    Jamie Rowe is the daughter of Douglas and Marsha Rowe. Jamie was the two-year president of the Pink Ribbon Club and a member of the National Honor Society and the Key Club. During her years in high school she participated in field hockey and track programs, serving as JV co-captain of the field hockey team. Honors that Jamie has received in high school include the University of Rochester Book Award, and being a Merriconeag Poetry Festival Finalist. Jamie will be studying marketing at the University of Maine in the fall.

    Susan Rundell - Valedictorian, is the daughter of Helen and Jonathan Rundell. Susan has participated in Academic Decathlon for four years, and she has been the captain and highest scoring individual in the state for three years. She is the treasurer of the Scarborough Interact Club, a volunteer at the Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine, and a karate instructor. Susan will be attending Yale University in the fall.

    Mary Scott is the daughter of Troy and Paulette Scott. During high school Mary participated in the Junior Volunteer Program at Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the soccer team for two years and ran cross country for two years, earning a spot on the SMAA All-Academic Team. She was a member of the lacrosse team for four years, earning US Lacrosse Academic All-American, SMAA Honorable Mention recognition and winning state championships in 2010 and 2011. Mary will be attending the University of New Hampshire in the fall where she will study nursing

    Emily Tolman is the daughter of Greg and Kathy Tolman. Emily was a co-founder of the Quidditch Club, a member of the Art Club, and a member of the Academic Decathlon team. During all four years of high school she participated in soccer, indoor track, and outdoor track, serving as co-captain of the soccer and outdoor track teams her senior year. Honors and awards that Emily has received in high school include All-State in soccer and track, All-New England in track, and the state record in the 600 meter run. She was All-Academic in soccer and track, received the RIT Book Award, and was a part of 7 state championship teams. Emily will be attending Colby College in the fall.

    Mariah Volk is the daughter of Amy and Derek Volk. She was the President of the Chorus and a member of the National Honor Society. During her four years of high school, she participated in chorus, Oak Hill Players, One Acts, softball, and Key Club. Outside of school, she has gone on several mission trips and is the worship leader at her church. She received the St. Lawrence Book Award for Community Service as well as multiple Chorus honors. Mariah will be studying Social Work and Spanish at Eastern University in the fall.

    Rachel Webber is the daughter of David and Lynne Webber. Rachel was a member of the National Honor Society, Secretary of Pink Ribbon club, and a volunteer at Maine Medical Center. During all four years of high school she participated on the volleyball and tennis teams, serving as captain of the tennis team her junior and senior year. Honors and awards that Rachel has received in high school include the Society of Women Engineers Certificate, Honor Roll, and MVP for varsity tennis. Rachel will be attending Stonehill College in the fall, majoring in Biology.

    Fallon Weiss is the daughter of Sheila Weiss of Scarborough, and Gary Weiss of Portland, Maine. Fallon participated in Key Club, ECOS and was a member of the Scarborough Dance Center's competition dance team. Fallon will be attending the University of New England in the fall with a pre-dentistry major.

    Mallory Weiss is the daughter of Sheila Weiss of Scarborough, and Gary Weiss of Portland, Maine. Mallory participated in Key Club, ECOS and was a member of Scarborough Dance Center's competition dance team. Mallory was the recipient of the St. Thomas University Book Award which recognized her as a leader in the Liberal Arts, and her appreciation for the humanities and social sciences. Mallory will attend Manhattanville College in the fall where she will continue to dance and explore her interests in psychology and Spanish.
