Maine writer's story published in this week's New Yorker

Maine author Sarah Braunstein, who won the 2012 Maine Literary Award for Fiction for her novel “The Sweet Relief of Missing Children,” has a short story in the current April 1 edition of the New Yorker magazine. The story is titled "Marjorie Lemke."

To celebrate her achievement, the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance will host a reception for Braunstein from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mayo Street Arts Center in Portland, 10 Mayo St.
