JOHANNESBURG – The man who was Born to Run has come all the way to South Africa for a first-ever performance in the country.
Bruce Springsteen, nicknamed “The Boss,” arrived in Cape Town on Friday ahead of four concerts with the E Street Band – on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Cape Town and Feb. 1 in Johannesburg.
Springsteen flew into Cape Town in a private jet, removing a black leather jacket in the sunny summer weather as he headed to a waiting vehicle.
His new album is titled “High Hopes.”
