Ralston and harbormaster Abbie Leonard collaborated on the project, which covers the walls of the building on the west side of the harbor.

The exhibition includes an image of this year's Camden fireworks show on July 5. Ralston shot the photograph from a ledge in Rockport known as the Graves.

Said Leonard of the photograph, "It's not of Rockport Harbor, but we all really love this photograph and it ties together the whole collection."

Ralston has been photographing the Maine coast since 1978, and is drawn to the working communities that define coastal Maine's character.

His work has been seen in many books and magazines, featured on network television and exhibited in galleries, collections and museums throughout the United States and abroad.

The harbormaster's office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 236-0676 for information.

In addition to the show on the harbor, the photographer also shows his work at the Ralston Gallery, 23 Main St., Rockport.

The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.

The DaPonte String Quartet offers its "Inspired Voices" concerts this week, spanning a range of times and styles, starting with Franz Josef Haydn's classic String Quartet in F Minor, followed by Schubert's masterpiece "Death and the Maiden," and ending with Chinese composer Tan Dun's impressionistic "Eight Colors."

"Inspired Voices" will be performed at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Boothbay's Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kellogg Church in Harpswell. For ticket information, visit www.DaPonte.org or call 529-4555.
