HERE ARE some southern Maine farms where you can pick highbush blueberries. It's always a good idea to call ahead to be sure they're open. Most places take cash only, or cash and checks only, so don't count on your credit card to get your blueberry fix.

WHAT ELSE: Blueberry-themed musical comedy "East Side Story" runs Aug. 15 to 18. Tickets are $13 for adults and $5 for children. The musical usually sells out, so call ahead for tickets.
