Otto contest seeks winning design
The Otto pizzerias are asking students to help design a new pizza box. Students from kindergarten age through the eighth grade can win their school $1,000 for art education by entering the Draw Outside of the Box contest, which runs through Dec. 18.
All entries will appear online in a Facebook photo album. The 30 designs that gather the most “likes” will move on to the next phase of the contest. There will be 30 finalists. First, second and third place will be chosen by a panel of design experts, including Scott Nash of Flat Stanley fame. The first-place winner’s design will be printed on pizza boxes to be used at Otto’s locations in New England.
The top prize also includes a pizza party for up to 30 students, a $50 Otto gift card, and an Otto T-shirt and cap. The winner’s school will receive the $1,000 check.
The second-place winner gets a pizza party, a $25 Otto gift card and a T-shirt and hat. For third place, it’s a pizza party, a $15 Otto gift card and the shirt and hat.
