“THE WAIT,” directed by M. Blash.

Chloe Sevigny and Jena Malone play Emma and Angela, two sisters whose mother has recently passed away. When they receive a phone call from a stranger claiming to be a psychic and informing them that their mother “will return,” Emma elects to keep the corpse at home and prepare for the resurrection.

This atmospheric, artistic – and possibly supernatural – drama explores the lives and losses of people in rural Oregon through chilly photography of the landscape and a moody score by Owen Pallett.
