Portland artist Alice Spencer exhibits a series of new work based on the textile tradition of patchwork, which is found all over the world. The show, "Kasaya," is on view through Dec. 21 at Aucocisco Galleries, 89 Exchange St., Portland. The gallery will be open for Portland's First Friday Art Walk, from 5 to 8 p.m. Also on view is "Heather Perry: The Weight of the Heavenly Garden in the Plane of Existence." Shown here is Spencer's "Kasaya 3."
