The Led Zeppelin concert film “Celebration Day,” documenting a performance by the iconic rock band in London in 2007, will be screened in HD on Friday at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center.
“Nightlight: Artist Intervention & Copper Beech Tree Lighting” begins at 5 p.m. Friday with four light-illuminated window displays designed by Kimberly Convey, acoustic concerts and mini installations throughout the Portland Museum of Art. Outside the museum, a candlelit stroll will take place in the sculpture garden on High Street with holiday choral music by the members of the Vox Nova Chamber Choir. The evening will end with the lighting of the museum’s Copper Beech Tree at 7 p.m. Special this year will be a decorative light installation by Pandora LaCasse.
