Nature provides 'Tempest' stage
FREEPORT SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL presents "The Tempest" at L.L. Bean Discovery Park beginning Tuesday. This first-year event will feature a fully staged production of the Shakespeare classic on an outdoor stage under the night sky.

PORTopera's back, with 'Hansel and Gretel'
PORTOPERA, Portland's professional opera company, returns after a one-year hiatus to stage the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel," written by the German composer Engelbert Humperdinck. The opera will be sung in English, and will include supertitles.
