From news service reports
INDIANAPOLIS - Madonna won't explicitly say who she's rooting for, but her spot-on salsa dance in honor of the New York Giants Victor Cruz may have revealed where her allegiance lies.

At a news conference Thursday to promote her halftime Super Bowl performance, she was asked what she thought of the wide receiver's touchdown celebration dance and if she had any criticisms of his moves.
"I have no criticism ... actually, he's inspired me. I've been practicing," said Madonna, who lives in New York, before busting a move in front of the few hundred media members in attendance.
"Do you think he'd approve?" she asked after her brief performance.
Madonna also leaned toward the Giants when pressed on which quarterback she'd rather have dinner with, the New England Patriots' Tom Brady or the Giants' Eli Manning. While she protested the question was unfair, she allowed: "I'd have to say Eli because he lives in New York and I don't want him to waste gas. "
Madonna's salsa dance was her only performance of the day; she declined to follow the footsteps of other halftime acts who have given a tease of their performance with a mini concert.
Madonna gave few details about Sunday's show, which may feature white-hot rapper Nicki Minaj, who is featured on Madonna's new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'." (She promoted her song by announcing it would be available on iTunes Friday, and for those who may not have known her film "W.E." opens this week, a press kit was placed on seats for reporters.)
""I really don't want to blow the surprises," said Madonna, who only promised to sing three old songs and one new one.
"I want people to be knocked off their feet," she said.
William arrives in the Falklands
LONDON - Prince William arrived in the Falkland Islands on Thursday for a six-week deployment as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, British officials said.
The Ministry of Defense confirmed that William, known in the service as Flight Lt. Wales, landed on the British outpost as part of a four-member Royal Air Force crew.
The prince's visit has riled Argentina, which claims the islands 290 miles off its coast that it calls Las Malvinas. Argentina's foreign ministry likened the move to a conquistador's arrival.
Britain and Argentina have been trading words in the run-up to the 30th anniversary of Argentina's April 1982 invasion. The 10-week war that followed ended in British victory and killed 650 Argentine troops, more than 250 British personnel and three islanders.
'Jersey Shore' stars get offer to film in Pennsyvania
PITTSBURGH - If Snooki and JWoww need a place to live, Jersey Shore will welcome them with open arms.
Jersey Shore, Pa., that is.
The Central Pennsylvania Film Office wants the stars of MTV's "Jersey Shore" reality show to come to the tiny borough in north-central Pennsylvania or to nearby Williamsport to shoot a planned spinoff of their gym-tan-laundry lifestyle.
Lorena Beniquez, the commissioner of the film office, was quick to jump on the news that officials in Hoboken, N.J., had refused to issue a permit for the new reality show that will feature hard-partying stars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley.
So, Beniquez thought, why not invite the "Jersey Shore" stars to the borough of the same name - about 140 miles northwest of Philadelphia and only slightly farther than that from Hoboken?
