Learn about nature / 2 p.m. in Freeport
Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is offering free nature programs daily through Labor Day. Programs last an hour and are suitable for all ages. Meet at the benches at the park's second parking lot. TUESDAY
Pemaquid Paddlers / 9 a.m. in Damariscotta
The midcoast paddling troupe will be checking out Biscay Pond. Put-in is at Biscay Beach off Biscay Road. Take Biscay Road at the traffic light in Damariscotta. The beach is on the right. Participants must provide their own canoe or kayak and wear a life jacket. All trips are free. Rain or shine. Call 677-6380.

Family Fun Day / 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Swanville
The Bureau of Parks and Land is holding a Family Fun Day complete with refreshments, nature tours, paddle boats, kayaks and outdoor demonstrations. Swan Lake State Park is a small park located south of Bangor. To learn more call 525-4404, or go to www.maine.gov/swanlake.

Marsh Adventure / 7 to 11 a.m. in Scarborough
