Saturday

Holy Saturday Church Walk, starting at 8 a.m., when a group of young adults will walk to eight Portland churches in 10 hours, stopping for about 30 minutes at each location for prayers. All ages are welcome to participate and may join at any location. The full distance is about nine miles and the walk will take place rain or shine.

The expected schedule is:

Helicopter Easter egg drop, following the 11 a.m. service at a location to be announced, for children who attend the service. Next Level Church, 1053 Forest Ave., Portland. Register for the egg drop at http://nlc.tv/.

Annual Easter Day Community Dinner, starting at noon at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, White and Limerock streets, Rockland. The dinner is sponsored and hosted by Adas Yoshuron Synagogue. Free and open to all. Call 594-4523 for more information.

Family Easter Concert, 6 p.m., with performance by the trio Grace and others. Held at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 496 Lisbon St., Route 196, Lisbon. Children’s biblical scavenger hunt with prizes starts at 5:30 p.m. and refreshments will be offered.

Easter Sunday Sunrise Services

6 a.m., Community Easter Sunrise Service, held outside, weather permitting, at the Phippsburg Congregational Church, UCC, 10 Church Lane, Phippsburg. A free public breakfast will follow at the church.

6 a.m., Sunrise Service at Community of the Resurrection, Poplar Ridge Road, off Route 121, Otisfield. Breakfast will follow from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Spurr’s Corner Church.

6:15 a.m., Blue Point Congregational Church Sunrise Service at Pine Point Beach; meet at Hurd Park public parking lot.

6:15 a.m., Bradbury Mountain, Pownal, with a service at the peak and also at the shelter. Sponsored by First Parish Congregational Church, Pownal, and First Baptist Church, Freeport.

6:30 a.m., Daybreak Service with Raymond Village Community Church and Casco Village Church and held in Casco. Breakfast follows at Casco Church.

6:25 a.m., annual Community Easter Sunrise Service of the Kennebunks on the peninsula between Kennebunk Beach and Mother’s Beach.
