Yard sale and fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Church on the Cape, 3 Langsford Road, Cape Porpoise.

Random Fun Day, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., fourth annual family event with games, concert, competitions and barbecue at First Baptist Church, Canco Road, Portland. All activities are free although donations are welcome.

Saturday

Summerfest, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 27th annual fair and silent auction with dog parade and dog show, entertainment and activities. First Congregational Church of Wiscasset, in the village next to Lincoln County Courthouse.

Vacation Bible Schools

Explorer Camp, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 19-23, outdoor activities, survival skills and hiking for those who have completed first through eighth grades.
