PORTLAND — Two 23-year-old men from Dresden, Maine, have been charged with robbing a Walgreen’s pharmacy in Bath.

Federal authorities say Nicholas Alexander and Devin Alexander were charged in connection with a Friday incident in which a pharmacist was handed a note demanding the prescription drug Oxycontin and threatening death if it wasn’t turned over.

If convicted, the men face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Local and state authorities joined the FBI in the investigation.

No lawyer for the Alexanders could immediately be identified. There was no answer Monday evening at the home of an Alexander listed in Dresden.
