Man wanted in Maine arrested in N.H.

Nicholas Edmond, 27, was arrested Friday morning by U.S. marshals and members of the Maine Violent Offender Task Force.

CONCORD, N.H. — Authorities have arrested a man in New Hampshire who is wanted in Maine on violations stemming from his conviction and sentence of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

A warrant was out for 27-year-old Nicholas Edmond, who had addresses in both Maine and New Hampshire. He was arrested Friday morning in Somersworth, N.H., by members of the U.S. Marshals and the Maine Violent Offender Task Force.

A “Fugitive of the Week” broadcast and story on Edmond were featured Thursday in local media and resulted in numerous tips.
