CONCORD, N.H. — Three men have lost their fishing licenses for a year and been ordered to pay fines and restitution for breaking into ice-fishing shacks in New Hampshire last winter.
New Hampshire Fish and Game Department officials say they've wrapped up their cases against 27-year-old Eric Ross of Tamworth, 22-year-old Ethan Billings of Ossipee and 19-year-old Luke Fay of Cornish, Maine.
The charges against the three stemmed from break-ins into ice-fishing shacks last January on Lake Winnipesaukee in Tuftonboro and Loon Lake in Freedom.
Authorities say power ice augers, heaters, fishing gear were among the items stolen.
The three men pleaded guilty to various theft charges, with the final case wrapping up this week.
