GORHAM — Police have shut down County Road between South Street and Deering Road because of a single-car accident in which a car hit and broke a utility pole, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department.
The scene of accident is just beyond Route 114 heading toward Buxton.
The local fire department and Central Maine Power employees are on the scene.
A dispatcher could not immediately confirm whether someone is still in the car.
