One injured in I-295 accident

FALMOUTH — One person was transported by ambulance to Maine Medical Center in Portland this morning after a car went off Interstate 295 in Falmouth, near the Bucknam Road exit.

A Falmouth dispatcher said a town ambulance transported one individual, but he could not provide additional details regarding the person's name or condition.

Maine State Police, who responded to the accident, said the crash took place in the northbound lane of the highway around 10:30 a.m.
