BRUNSWICK – The town of Brunswick issued a ban prohibiting parking on all street and municipal parking lots early on Sunday as the second storm in a week entered Maine.

Brunswick said the ban would begin at 1 a.m. and end at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30.

The midcoast region of the state could see as much as a foot of snow from a storm that was moving into the region from southern New England.

The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a winter-storm warning along the Maine coast.

The state was hit with a storm on Thursday, which dumped as much as 17 inches of snow in some regions.
