MANCHESTER, N.H. — More than 40 nonprofit groups and organizations that help children across New England are splitting nearly $170,000 in grant funding thanks to the New Hampshire chapter of Speedway Children's Charities.
Officials from New Hampshire Motor Speedway will join Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas on Tuesday to hand out the grants at City Hall.
The recipients range from Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine, which supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, to the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
