Celtics guard MarShon Brooks is being reassigned to the Maine Red Claws, according to the team’s website.

Brooks has seen little playing time with the Celtics this year. He was drafted by the team in 2011, traded to Brooklyn and then landed back in Boston during the summer.

Brooks, has appeared in nine games for the Celtics this season posting averages of 3.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per game, according to Cetlics.com. Earlier this week it was announced that the Red Claws could be a rehab stop for Rajon Rondo, the Celtics’ star point guard who is working his way back from a knee injury.
