BOSTON – The Boston Celtics signed guard/forward Terrence Williams to a multiyear contract on Sunday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Williams, a 6-foot-6 guard/forward, joined the Celtics on Feb. 20 on a 10-day contract and has appeared in four games, averaging 3.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 11.5 minutes per game.

Williams joined the Celtics after playing for the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association, where he averaged 17.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 29 games.
