A Cornish man faces charges of robbery stemming from a Standish home invasion in December.
Derek J. LeConte, 30, was arrested Tuesday by Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies. He is accused of being one of three masked men who forced their way into a home on Woodland Avenue in Standish Dec. 4.
A woman and her two children, ages 2 and 9, were home at the time. The woman tried to stop the robbers but was overpowered and they took her cell phone, prescription drugs and cash, the sheriff's office said.
The woman did not require medical attention.
Investigators said they recently received information that helped them identify LeConte, allowing them to arrest him three months after the crime. They expect to arrest others involved in the crime.
LeConte is being held in the Cumberland County Jail on $75,000 bail pending an initial court appearance.
