Silk was a crew member on a Black Hawk helicopter. He was killed June 21 during what officials describe as a "hard landing."
The Bangor Daily News says that weather permitting, a Black Hawk will conduct an honorary flyover during the graveside portion of the service for Silk Lawndale Cemetery in Old Town.
