PORTLAND – Traffic in both directions on Forest Avenue are being detoured around the Woodford's Corner railroad crossing due to a malfunctioning gate.
City officials said motorists will not be able to travel past the crossing and should find another route.
Repairs are expected to take up to two hours to complete and the Wednesday night commute is expected to be significantly hampered.
