PROSPECT, Maine — Maine native and conservative radio talk-show show host Howie Carr is joining Gov. Paul LePage at a festival put on by the Maine chapter of the Americans for Prosperity organization.
Americans for Prosperity says its Economic Freedom Festival will celebrate the idea of limited government, lower taxes and freedom. The festival was being held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Fort Knox State Historic Site in Prospect.
Carr, a well-known conservative radio voice, author and journalist who was born and raised in Portland, will offer remarks at the event.
Also speaking will be LePage and Tarren Bragdon, CEO of the Foundation for Government Accountability and the former head of the Maine Heritage Policy Center.
