NEW CASTLE, N.H. — U.S Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will be in the Granite State to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the University of New Hampshire School of Law.

Scalia will be the keynote speaker at the annual law school alumni dinner Friday at Wentworth by the Sea in New Castle.

Seats in the main ballroom where Scalia will speak have already sold out. His speech will be video streamed to attendees in the adjacent Grand Ballroom.

The event is restricted to law school alumni and is not open to the public.

The state’s only law school got its start in 1973 as the Franklin Pierce Law Center and recently completed a merger with the University of New Hampshire.
