LePage to honor state employees for exemplary service

The governor will present three dozen workers with Governor's Employee or Manager of the Year awards this morning at the Blaine House.

AUGUSTA — Gov. Paul LePage is honoring three dozen state employees in a ceremony at the governor's residence.

LePage will present the workers with Governor's Employee or Manager of the Year awards Wednesday morning at the Blaine House in Augusta.

The awards are presented to employees who exemplify excellence in public service. The winners were cited by their nominating agencies for their commitment to customer service, strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
