Officials said 25-year-old Parris Peterson-Lloyd was arrested early Sunday on the Maine Turnpike in Litchfield. He waived extradition on Tuesday.

Police say Peterson-Lloyd and another man already in custody, 24-year-old Tyrone Brown, are suspects in a June 30 shooting in Brooklyn's Flatbush section.

Police believe the gunfire erupted after someone was asked to leave a party or was not allowed in. The victims suffered a range of minor injuries.

In Maine, Peterson-Lloyd was a passenger in a car that was pulled over by a trooper. There were two others in the car, including Tyrone Sanders, 24, of the Bronx.

Neither Sanders nor the other man was charged in the connection with the shooting, but Sanders was arrested for refusing to give his name to police officers.
