KENNEBUNK – Police arrested a 42-year-old man after he allegedly ran over his ex-wife in a parking lot outside a middle-school basketball game Friday night.
Police said Philip Bundy was charged with reckless conduct. They said they are still investigating the incident, but confirmed that Bundy is alleged to have run over his ex-wife, Chanin Hale.
Hale's brother, Loren Hale, said his sister had extensive injuries to her right side and was being treated at Southern Maine Medical Center. He said her injuries aren't considered to be life-threatening.
Loren Hale said his sister was at the school because it was the last game of the season and her daughter is a cheerleader. Loren Hale also said his sister had filed papers for custody of the couple's two daughters Friday.
Kennebunk police said they expected to have more information on the incident today.
