ALFRED — A Massabesic High School special education teacher was charged today with having sex with one of her students and furnishing marijuana to the 15-year-old boy.
Jessica Pomerleau, 36, of Limerick, voluntarily turned herself in to authorities around 4:30 p.m., according to Maj. William L. King Jr., spokesman for the York County Sheriff’s Office.

King said Pomerleau has been charged with one count of gross sexual assault and one count of aggravated unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs – both Class C crimes.
Pomerleau is at the York County jail in Alfred tonight where she is being held on $10,000 cash bail or $25,000 property bail.
She has been employed by Regional School Union 57 for four years, the last three years as a special education teacher in the Success Program.
