A missing teenager from South Berwick has been found in Virginia.
Police say Kimberly M. Sanborn, 16, was placed in protective custody Friday in Amelia County, Virginia.
Sanborn was last seen around 4 p.m. Wednesday near Hanover Street in Portsmouth, N.H. Police had said she may have gotten onto a bus, but did not know her destination.
Sanborn is expected to be reunited with her family soon. No other details were immediately available.
