PORTLAND — Rookie Tyler Toffoli scored three goals to lead the Manchester Monarchs to a 5-1 win against the Portland Pirates on Tuesday night in an AHL game at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
Slava Voynov and Stefan Legien scored third-period goals to help send the Monarchs into 5-0 lead.
With 32 seconds left, Evan Brophy scored his second goal of the season to spoil the shutout bid by Martin Jones, who made 42 saves.
