Organizers of the Nateva Music and Camping Festival have added several more bands to the festival lineup, including STS9, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, and Umphrey’s McGee.
The festival will be July 2-4 at the Oxford Fairgrounds in western Maine. Also new to the lineup are the seasoned jam band Max Creek, the emerging bands The Felice Brothers and Ryan Montbleau Band, the reggae groups John Brown’s Body and Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, and genre-bending Greensky Bluegrass.
The bands will join a roster of artists previously announced, including July 4 headliner Furthur, founded by the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh and Bob Weir; July 3 headliner the Flaming Lips; and July 2 headliner moe. Lotus will headline a Thursday night prefestival party on July 1. Also scheduled to perform are The Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi Band, Zappa Plays Zappa, Keller Williams and Moonalice.
More bands will be announced later. So far, only weekend passes are available, although single-day tickets will be offered later. Weekend passes with camping are $249 and without camping $229. They are available through Sunday for $199 and $179 at NatevaFestival.com.
