N.H. clerk punched in face over bag of crackers

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Police in Manchester, N.H., are looking for a man suspected of punching a convenience store clerk in the face when he was confronted about taking a 3-ounce bag of crackers.

The clerk told police the man started to leave the TN Convenience store on Monday after concealing the Cheez-It bag in his pants. The clerk followed him outside and the two got into a struggle. The clerk said the man punched him and left.

Police said a woman who was believed to have been with the man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and resisting arrest when questioned about the store robbery.
