Injured NH snowmobiler taken to Maine Med

The Associated Press

ERROL, N.H. — New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say a man has been hurt in a snowmobile crash on Lake Umbagog.

Forty-nine-year-old Albert Morancy of Dover had left Errol on his snowmobile and was crossing a plowed section of the lake about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say as he approached a boat launch, he hit a snow bank and lost control of his machine.

Errol Fire and Rescue and state police responded. He was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
