FARMINGTON, N.H. — A New Hampshire man has been arrested after police said he refused to give back a school bus when he was fired.
Sixty-two-year-old Scott Leathe of Farmington was charged with receiving stolen property on Monday.
Lt. Kevin Willey said a school employee went to Leathe's house to collect the bus, but that Leathe would not give him the keys.
Willey told Foster's Daily Democrat he believes the confrontation happened as a result of a dispute between Leathe and the school district over severance pay. School officials did not return calls seeking comment.
Leathe's arraignment has been scheduled for May 1.
