PORTLAND — There is no winter parking ban in effect tonight in the city of Portland.
Though it was snowing steadily by 5 p.m. Portland’s police dispatch center said it had received no word about a Sunday night ban, which would have prohibited motorists from leaving their vehicles parked on city streets overnight.
The National Weather Service in Gray, on its website, was predicting a snow accumulation of between one and three inches for the greater Portland area.
