North Berwick man dies after crash into tree in Berwick

BERWICK - A 20-year-old North Berwick man died early Saturday after crashing the vehicle he was driving into a tree on Old Sanford Road at Hanson Road in Berwick.

Justin Glass, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was extricated by the Berwick Fire Department and was then transported by ambulance to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H., with life-threatening injuries, Berwick police said in a press release.

Glass was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Police did not believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
